"I came in here and received awful service from one of the managers, this person was having a casual conversation with another costumer and as soon as this was done I was standing by and she was going through a box of cards and she put some in her mouth, I asked her where I could find tank lids and first time she pointed and grunted in the direction of this item with the card in ourt mouth so I went over there to try to find it, i didn't so i went back to ask her again and she gave me a rust response where she pointed where it again so i went to look for it for the second time. I still was not seeing it, the third time I asked the manager rushed to the area she was pointing to which was behind a u-boat so I moved it and I only saw tank stands. After she showed me what she was showing me she immediately walked away, it felt impossible to clarify or ask any questions.I audibly said "this is really unhelpful" however she ignored me and continued doing as she was.This place also refuses to recommend necessary enclosures for many pocket animals."

"Do not shop here for aquarium plant! See pictures the plant didn't even have roots but you can't tell . They had this on shelf looks great in package. Got home it was leaves tied together with string. I'm not going there ever again because they want to be sneaky. I asked the girl working for help and this is what she pointed me to. The plants in the tanks were half dead and 75% off. No plants here. 1 star because someone opened this package and tied dead leaves together and put on shelf. They earned the 1 star."

"Based on personal experience, I am very saddened to learn my neighborhood Petco DOES NOT have a community bulletin board to post local pet related events and will not consider posting in a store front window. Apparently you can open up a store in our community, take our money, but not support local groups conducting events by simply posting a flyer to advertise the event. I will forever shop in our town's small local pet store and never set foot in a Petco again. I will make it my mission to publicize your position on this matter in all social platforms I am a member of and strongly encourage my network to boycott your store."

"I took my dog into the Parsippany, NJ Petco to have him groomed. The groomer felt his ears snd stated she might not be able to groom his ears because they were matted. She stated they are not equipped with the proper razors. About 40 minutes later I was called to pick him up. i got there to pick him up. The groomer stated Oliver was getting ancy. She couldn't finish is face because his ears were to matted. She told me to take Oliver to my vet and have his ears shaved then bring him back to her snd she would finish the rest. Why did she start? She had no answer. I called and spoke to the store manager and again, no answer as to why the "groomer " groomed him knowing she couldn't finish the job. My husband called and spoke with the manager Ali.She gave him the same song and dance. He said this is a lawsuit waiting to happen. She told him she would have to call her District Manager to rectify it. The DM told Ali to offer pay the vet bill. Not one person replied to any emails or phone calls to the corporate office! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET THERE FOR ANYTHING! The groomer and manager should be fired!"
