What is rent day with Bilt? ›

Each Rent Day, Bilt World Elite Mastercard® Credit Card holders can earn double the number of points on dining, travel and everything else (except rent). From 12 a.m. ET to 11:59 p.m. PT, cardholders earn: NerdWallet rating.

Bilt earns revenue on transactions outside of rent

You can use your Bilt Rewards towards a down payment on a future home at 1.5 cents each. In other words, every 1,000 points is worth $15 towards a down payment. To redeem your points, you'll need to email Bilt with proof of purchase and specify how many points you want to redeem towards the down payment.

Credit score: Requires good to excellent credit

The recommended credit score to apply for this card is good to excellent (670-850). But people with fair credit or lower would benefit the most from this feature. If you already have a good to excellent score, this feature is less advantageous.

You cannot redeem Bilt Rewards points for cash back, either as a statement credit or a deposit into a checking/savings account.

Bilt Mastercard potential cons

Non-rent rewards aren't competitive: While rent-related rewards are good, earning and redeeming travel points might be more competitive with other cards on the market. No Zelle support: You can use Bilt if you pay your rent through Venmo, PayPal, and even with a check.

Do Bilt points expire? ›

Points do not expire as long as your account remains open and is active*, but members with the Bilt Mastercard need to use their card at least 5 times in a statement cycle to earn points toward that statement cycle.
